In a preventative first strike, Ashesh, president, moved to invoke a gag
order on JuddCom Rep Anita Krishnan.  A resounding vote of approval upheld 
this ruling and a gag order was invoked.  In a last desparate and utterly
futile act of resistance, Anita stormed out of the meeting.  As her footsteps
could be heard echoing down the hallway, Ashesh commented " Ah.. she doesn't
do anything important anyway."

As you may have heard, we had a party last night (monday).  Well, we didn't get
busted for anything.  Basically because we didn't do anything.

Dude! we got lots of things this summer! There are lots more dumbbells in the
weight room, and we aren't talking freshmen.  Oh, and we gots this 75lb bag 
you can take your frustration out on.

The vacuum cleaners are currently very effective paper weights.  They are
looking into changing that.

The Fourth East microwave doesn't work.  It is under warantee, so it should.
Oh, okay.

Country Kitchen Chairs: Victor and Nicole are going to change the rules a bit

Soda: we have spent too much so far.  Ashesh is going to "outsource" it.  He's
	course 14, we'll excuse him for that.   He listens to country music.

We got 131 new people.  9 transfers.  Lottery went okay.  Everyone is in a room now

Ashesh is working on the list to add frosh tomorrow morning. Tomorrow morning
ashesh is going to add frosh to the everyoneatnext list.  I like the second 
sentence better.

Once that is done, George will tell us all about the upcoming football captains
meeting and all that fun stuff.

We need another UA representative for the dorm by the first meeting on September 15.
Anita was nominated so that she would get a "real job."  But she was not available
for comment.  "Anita went upstairs to watch 'When Harry met Sally' because she is
negligent."  If you have any questions about the position, talk to jeremy sher
(jdsher@mit.edu) about it.  If you wanna know more about the growing anti-anita
sentiment, talk to ashesh.

FALL MOVIE NIGHT	
	we, uh, need to pick a date. After budget? before snow? chocoate melted
last year, lets do it later this time.  Okay.  So do we have a date? Nope. Then
its agreed that we don't have a date? Yup.  Okay.

	Yo, does everyone know that the screen had to be replaced cuz it was tossed
out during the summer?  Well, now they do.  The new one is in the Country Kitchen.
Please don't throw out anything that has lots ofwhite cloth on it.  Thanks.

BASKETBALL COURT
	Ashesh wants it.  Everyone else doesn't seem to want it.  "they" feel 
that it would bring Cambridge kids onto campus, and, well, MIT students aren't
capable of dealing with Cambridge people.  "outlook not so good"
	
BJ'S CARD
	Next House can get a non-profit organization membership and get food without
taxes.  Let's do it.  Sure.

FREE VASSER SHUTTLE
	There is a new free shuttle running down Vasser Street.  Free for MIT
students.  It stops at 640 Memorial Drive, Vasser and Memorial, Vasser and 
that street that the Hyatt is on, bldg 39, Kendall T-stop, one kendall square,
Tech Square, and I think that's it.  The complete schedule is posted outside
my room - 528.

FREE PARKING
	well, almost free.  It'll cost you around $300 to park in the westgate
lot.  Next gets a limited amount of spaces - maybe.  The parking department
doesn't know what it is doing so neither do we.  Information, as available, will
follow.

RCC 
	The dorm RCC's would like to setup a dorm server that will have updated
information about resnet at next.  They have all the components in their room
except for a hard drive.  They'll write up a proposal and then it will be
evaluated when it is done.

PLATE OF BROWNIES
	Its um, maybe still there if you're hungry.  In the TFL.  Otherwise, it
isn't.
